The Everyday Female Networking Lunch

Sunday 17th December 2023 The Everyday Female hosted their first networking lunch. This took at Sheesh in Mayfair, a 2023 dining hotspot (with great music) that provides flame cooked dishes in a candle lit setting. The purpose of the event was to bring together women working mostly in the beauty industry with their own hustle, running their own business, that wanted to develop new relationships with like-minded people.

The Everyday Female was founded by CEO of My Lash London, Rebecca, that educates whilst running her own salon and beauty, lifestyle, and fitness blogger, Naomi Labelle, that also works with businesses to strategise their growth. The Everyday Female was set up to start a positive group movement with aims to inspire, uplift and educate women to step out of their comfort zone, and create collaborations within the industry.

The Everyday Female hosted an amazing event. Every guest was greeted personally by both Naomi and Rebecca, as stated in the invite. This was just one example of the mentorship provided that day, to establish good relationships with others. Being able to establish good relationships stems from knowing your values for yourself, your business, and your consumers to figure out how you want to present yourself.

The three-course meal was complimented with advice from every female at the table, as we all had the opportunity to share our stories and be intimate in a large group. We spoke about our journeys into the industry, and the importance of our building stages, that ultimately get the credit for our success. I learned from the women I ate with that our reasoning and beginnings will always be different but determination with some resilience will bring success for every one that seeks it.

This was my first networking event, and I chose to attend because I enjoy going out to eat and I was looking for an opportunity to network and make new friends in the beauty industry. The food was as spectacular as the company, Sheesh accommodated us well. The staff as Sheesh are very friendly, give great advice and ensured there was more than enough sharing foods, with the platters having too many dishes to count, I still managed to try everything (with God and Naomi as my witness and all the women in my corner encouraging me to eat LOL!). I was in communication with the Everyday Female instagram prior to purchasing my seat and they were very responsive and transparent about the event program. Everything stated in the invite was true, it was good value as the price matches the price on the Sheesh website, no additional costs, and the opportunity to meet some many women was invaluable.
