Hot Girls Love Pilates by Hot Girl Wellness x The Only Way Is Amapiano

Hot Girl Wellness was founded by Chan, a skin specialist, for women as they embark on a well being journey of self-care and fitness, inspired by her own hobbies and interests. Hot Girl Wellness hosts monthly events as an opportunity to try new things whether it be reformer pilates or aerial sports in a safe space with other women followed by a discussion about skincare led by Beauty Hideout Skin Clinic and Academy.

On 23rd February 2025 I attended the Hot Girl Love Pilates event by Hot Girl Wellness and The Only Way Is Amapiano hosted at Range Reformer Pilates, Stratford, located in the Mirror Works building. The event was in 2 parts, a 45 minute reformer Pilates session to the sounds of The Only Way Is Amapiano DJ, Lizzie Rose and a skincare discuss led by Beauty Hideout Skin Clinic and Acadmey.

Entering the Pilates studio, we were welcomed by The Only Way Is Amapiano DJ Lizzie Rose filling the room with music, setting the tone by creating an uplifting vibe. Every reformer was decorated with goodie bags, balloons and a rose, following the galentine’s pink and red theme, which was thoughtfully curated, looking cute and so sweet!

The session was a mixed level reformer class led by a friendly and considerate female instructor, making it challenging but beginner friendly with intermediate options. Lizzie Rose ensured we stayed motivated throughout and was reminded life is for enjoying, no matter what you’re doing, with amapiano music playing in the background.

Perl Cosmetics Bamboo Spa Headband is super-soft and multi purpose. I wear it sometimes when working as an aesthetician as it great to keep my hair back, as well as when I am cleansing my face and applying make up. It is easy to use and wash too.

Xasi Revive Serum  is a great product to strengthen your skin, rich in antioxidants. This was perfect for me, someone who has a weaker skin barrier making me more prone to dryness as my skin struggles to retain moisture. By adding a serum to my routine to combat this as advised by Ijeoma during the skin discussion, I’ve found this product to be beneficial for me, with a consistency that is not too thick nor runny and allows for a layer of moisturiser to be applied on top easily.

L’Original African Black Soap by Shea Nature was incredible on my skin, it felt as though I was moisturising my skin whilst I was I was cleansing it, unlike other black soaps this one is perfect for sensitive skin like mine, leaving it smooth and ready to be oiled.

 A cute Hot Girl Wellness x The Only Way Is Amapiano pink reusable cup and straw,  heart shaped lollipop and Tetley raspberry and pomegranate tea, perfectly fitting the pink and red galentines colour them. 

The skincare discussion, led by Beauty Hideout skin specialist Ijeoma, provided a valuable opportunity to ask a professional for advice and exchange recommendations with others. I found it especially helpful in learning how to simplify and improve my skincare routine. To conclude, no two skin types are the same and finding what works best for your skin often requires some trial and error.

Sure, there are tons of products full of antioxidants and amazing benefits, but it really comes down to understanding your skin’s unique needs, which Ijeoma helped break down so well. We wrapped things up with some delicious refreshments and the cutest cupcakes, the sweetest ending to the Hot Girls Love Pilates event.
